June through October is peak game-viewing and the driest Kilimanjaro climbs. The shoulder months hide the best deals and the fewest other vehicles. We can match the country to your calendar.

What travellers ask us most.

June to October is peak game-viewing — dry, cool, and the great migration is on the move. November and December are quieter and better-priced, with the short rains keeping things lush. March-May is the long rains and we recommend avoiding it for safaris.

For most first-time climbers we recommend the 7- or 8-day Lemosho route — the extra acclimatization day lifts summit success rates from around 65% (6-day routes) to over 90%. Shorter routes are possible if you have prior altitude experience.

All our safaris are private by default — your own 4x4, your own guide, your own pace. Shared options are available on request for solo travellers looking to keep costs down.

Park fees, accommodation at your chosen tier, all meals on safari/mountain, bottled water, professional guide, private 4x4, and airport transfers. International flights, visas, travel insurance, drinks beyond water and crew tips are not included.
